Ashley Moss is a nightside reporter and fill-in anchor for KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City. She prioritizes live reporting, breaking news and developing sources for enterprise reporting and exclusive content for the NBC affiliate.

Ashley’s reporting zeroes in on city and state accountability, including widespread problems with Oklahoma’s criminal justice system, predatory business practices impacting consumers, and pushback against the state’s attempt to execute a multi-billion dollar highway infrastructure plan impacting hundreds of Oklahomans.

Ashley is known for pressing for answers and reporting beyond the surface details of a story.

Her months-long investigation into routine failures at Oklahoma’s public health lab and its newborn screening program shined a spotlight on abnormal genetic testing results , exposed state and federal investigations into the public lab's practices and highlighted changes to the screening process, with additional testing for a number of potentially fatal genetic conditions.

Before KFOR, Ashley was a working journalist in Dallas, Texas, covering breaking news as part of a fast-paced content team at WFAA and reporting stories reflective of Black-American narratives for award-winning newspapers.

Originally from northern Virginia, Ashley is a proud Spelman College and Syracuse University graduate.
